Rapid Building Solutions is looking for an Accounting Bookkeeper with prior experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, bank and credit card reconciliations, lien waivers, notice to owners, warranties, and change order procedures.
The ideal candidate will be organized, responsible, and capable of working in a collaborative environment with the Controller and the accounting team. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and be proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Enterprise. Construction experience a-plus.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Balance and maintain account ledgers.
- Familiarity with customer billing to include AIA documents and G702/G703.
- Maintain past due customer lists and aging reports.
- Change orders.
- Obtain Lien waiver and collections for customers.
- Obtain warranties from vendors.
- Filing of liens.
- Credit card reconciliations.
- Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management.
- Monitor office expenses, tally, and enter cash/credit card receipts.
- Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills.
- Exhibits a strong ability to oversee multiple demands with a sense of urgency, high level of confidentiality, drive, and energy.
- Works well under stress with the ability to deliver on time.
